CNBM enters Shanghai Expo Park

On August 8, the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government held the signing ceremony for the second group of central enterprises entering the Expo Park in Shanghai. Song Zhiping, chairman of China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM), attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Cao Jianglin, director of CNBM and president of China National Building Material Company Limited, reached a memorandum of cooperation in land development with Shanghai World Expo (Group) Co., Ltd.

CNBM established its Shanghai headquarters with the strong support of Wang Yong, chairman of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. Wang required that the headquarters be built into CNBM’s operation headquarters as part of the innovation in dual-headquarters mode for central enterprises. CNBM will, based on the headquarters, intensify the development of its international operations and emerging strategic sectors. Existing businesses in the southeast economic zone, such as cement, international engineering and complete equipment, and international logistics trade, will develop under the unified management of Shanghai’s operation headquarters to make greater contribution to Shanghai’s economic construction.
